Summer Reading Program Registration Begins Tuesday, May 26th

The Pasco County Library System Summer Reading Program is starting soon!

This year the Summer Reading Program theme is "Express Yourself" and all of our programs will have a theme of creativity and self-expression. The Land O' Lakes Library will have numerous programs each week for all age groups as follows: Babies and Toddlers ages 0-5 years, Elementary ages 5-9, Tween ages 9-12 and Teen ages 12-18.

Here's how the program works:

Registration begins on May 26th. To register, fill out a free reading club contract at any library branch or online at www.pascolibraries.org. Readers receive a prize just for registering!

Then you can begin reporting on your books on June 6th. Books are reported and tracked using the account created on the library's website. You only need to read six books by July 25th. Readers will receive a prize for each book read AND a prize for completing their commitment. If you read and report on six books or more, you become a Pasco County Library System Star Reader. All Star Readers will be invited to a final party with certificates and rewards for all!

We'll be offering a variety of programs and giveaways all summer, so stay tuned for a list of events and then drop in as often as possible.

Let's Get Reading and Be Creative!
