Whew! This summer is really rocking at your Land O' Lakes Library! If you haven't been in to your library lately be sure to stop by. Don't forget to sign-up online for the summer reading club and then join us for the weekly programs! Wednesdays @ 2:00pm for grades K-5, Fridays @ 2:00 for grades 4-7, teens on alternating Tuesdays and Fridays @ 6:00pm and 5 yrs and younger can join us for our storytimes on Fridays @ 10:15, 10:45 and 11:30.
Be sure to report your books online by July 23rd to be invited to the final parties and receive your awesome prizes!!!

Ken Mink's book reveals, pain, suspense, controversy (and humor) as the world's oldest college hoopster. Over fifty years after being wrongly kicked out of college Ken Mink returns to become the oldest person to ever score in a college basketball game.

These range from serving simply as a quickly and widely accessible marketing brochure, to providing more mechanisms allowing customers to communicate their needs easily and effectively, to becoming your very inexpensive, primary storefront. We will demystify much of the gobbledygook and walk you through an eight-step process of key activities needed to allow you to quickly leverage this technology in almost any business.

This is the latest and greatest meeting of the Land O' Lakes Japanese Anime & Manga Club, or LOLJAM. Come discuss a variety of topics about Japanese culture, youth society, fashion, art, cosplay, toys, history, anime, manga, and more! Try new foods from Japan every meeting and watch the latest in anime releases, some new to America. Club membership is limited and prior registration is required. Visit the library and ask at the reference desk for more info!

This two-hour seminar is designed for persons planning to start a business, or who have recently started a small business, but who have not yet set up an effective record keeping system. The seminar is a basic hands-on introduction to QuickBooks, the popular automated business record keeping system.
